1882 Grille



1882 Grille is looking to fill a Chef de Cuisine position for multi-faceted, destination in the heart of Oregon wine country. The ideal applicant oversees the operation of all kitchen areas, including but not limited to, creation of menu options, preparation of all food items.


Assists with the development of all menus and creates food ideas.
• Must be proficient with financials (inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
• Maintains budgeted food cost and labor cost.
• Participates in taste testing on all new products
• Must have previous experience as a chef de cuisine
• Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
• Maintains a superior food quality.
• Gives direction and develops kitchen supervisors.
• Maintains proper sanitation levels throughout department.
• Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety procedures to ensure Team Member safety.
• Develop training plans for the kitchen staff and ensures all kitchen staff are properly trained on food preparation, health and safety standards and requirements, and food quality
• Excellent knowledge of current culinary trends
• Scheduling of kitchen staff
• Strong interpersonal, managerial and leadership skills required
